Portraits

I have always loved painting and drawing. Music and Art have played a huge part in my life and have provided me with a lovely way to creatively express myself. I enjoy painting portraits of musicians, as they have been important, influential people in my life. I understand the passion, determination, talent, work and dedication it takes to be an artist and hope to capture this on canvas. I believe that art and music go together. When painting a musician, I listen to their music as inspiration. Every great musician has a story to tell. Often certain colors come to mind when listening to their music or watching them perform.
